Dr. Meredith Limber
Veterinarian
Dr. Limber grew up outside Dallas, TX, and fell in love with veterinary medicine when her high school guidance counselor connected her with a job cleaning kennels at a local vet clinic. She first came to Southern California to earn a BA in Liberal Arts from Whittier College. She then moved back to Dallas to work as a technician before earning her DVM at Texas A&M University in 2011.
After completing her degree, Dr. Limber returned to California to begin a career in general practice in Ventura County. She later transitioned to overnight emergency medicine in the San Fernando Valley before moving to San Diego in 2018. Her special interests lie in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and geriatrics. She believes the human-animal bond is profoundly important and is dedicated to honoring that bond while formulating diagnostic and treatment plans for every pet and their family.
In her free time, Dr. Limber enjoys hiking the Azalea Glen trail in Rancho Cuyamaca State Park, singing karaoke, and visiting playgrounds with her toddler. They share their home with her husband and their spicy orange cat, Admiral Ackbar.
