Pet Preventative Care


  • Intestinal Parasite Exams 
    • A test of fecal material.
    • Recommended each year.
  • Heartworm Testing
    • 4DX Test A blood test screening test for Heartworm Disease, and 3 tick-transmitted infections: Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma
    • ​Recommended each year for dogs.
  • Heartworm Antibody Test 
    • Screens for exposure to heartworm disease from mosquitoes.
    • Recommended each year for cats.
  • Health Screen Blood Profile
    • A blood test evaluating your pet’s liver, kidneys, blood sugar, electrolytes, blood proteins, and complete blood count to screen for infections or anemia
    • ​Recommended each year.
    •  Urinalysis 
      • A test of urine looking for urinary tract infection, diseases affecting the kidneys, urinary crystals, and stones.
      • Recommended each year.
    • ECG or EKG – also known as Electrocardiogram 
      • A simple test looking for signs of heart disease
      • Recommended at 6 years of age and each year thereafter.
